Jeff Severns Guntzel - Member/Owner

Jeff Severns Guntzel

Jeff Severns Guntzel is a qualitative researcher and program evaluator at TerraLuna. For over a decade, he has supported foundations, NGOs, school districts, and advocacy groups through developmental evaluation and qualitative interviewing and analysis. His work focuses on creating practical evaluation tools and products that meet immediate strategic needs.

Jeff specializes in qualitative coding methodologies, writing and editing, art and design collaborations, public records work, custom database design, and training advocates, organizations, and young people in interviewing and meaning-making. (Client and partner references available upon request.)

Before joining TerraLuna, he worked as a journalist and editor covering war, politics, veterans' health, and social justice movements for print and online publications and public radio.

In 2020, he was selected as an Annenberg Civic Media Fellow at the University of California.

In addition to his work as an evaluator, Jeff is also TerraLuna’s Operations Director, overseeing day-to-day operations, business development, and member support.
