Meet Molly Sullivan

Molly Sullivan

What brought you or led you to TerraLuna? How did you get here?

I was lucky to meet incredible people through a graduate school internship in evaluation. As I was graduating and beginning a position in early childhood education research, one of the internship colleagues reached out to me about starting an evaluation firm. It felt so outside of my comfort zone that I entered into those conversations very tentatively but am happy that I did. As TerraLuna Collaborative launched, I was also launching a family, welcoming three babies into my family in under two years. This brought about a desire to change my professional focus and when TerraLuna Collaborative about about three years old, I moved into working for TerraLuna, helping to implement and scale operations and staffing at a major growth point in the organization’s development.

Why has it become your evaluation/facilitation home? Why did you commit, stay, choose to become a member? What about why we choose to work this way?

TerraLuna Collaborative is an employee-owned cooperative firm. Both the work TerraLuna engages in and the organizational structure are important to my community and to me as a person. Having the power to make employee-based decisions and policies is incredible. Working in a cooperative environment is empowering and challenging. I am grateful to have had the chance to step into leadership positions alongside my other cooperative co-owners and create an organization.
